Beli for Women Prenatal Multivitamin

At Beli, we understand the importance of finding the right prenatal vitamins for your unique journey. Whether you're dreaming of conception, nurturing a growing miracle, or recovering postpartum, we're here to answer your top questions about Beli for Women:

1. What makes Beli for Women different?

We go beyond "one-size-fits-all" with prenatals that support vegan diets, morning sickness, and fertility optimization. Our advanced nutrient profiles include ingredients like methylated folate and choline for enhanced benefits, and we prioritize clean, high-quality ingredients you can trust.

2. Can Beli for Women help with fertility?

Yes! Our formulas include nutrients linked to improved egg quality and hormonal balance, supporting your journey towards conception. Think of us as your partner in building a healthy foundation for your future family.

3. Do Beli for Women prenatals cause nausea?

Our gentle formulas are designed for easy digestion, and we offer a light minty essence for nausea-prone individuals. Prenatal vitamins have higher nutrient content than normal multivitamins so if you do have a sensitive tummy we recommend taking it slow over the first few days and start with one capsule a day and then build up to the full three capsules.

4. Can I take Beli for Women throughout my entire pregnancy and postpartum?

Absolutely! Our comprehensive nutrient profile is suitable for all stages, from preconception to postpartum recovery.

Beli Vitality for Men:

Should I take Beli Vitality for Men even if I don’t have sperm issues?

Yes! Even if you have a healthy sperm, we strongly recommend taking it. Before fertilization occurs both the sperm and the egg need to be healthy. Nutritional deficiencies can contribute to risk factors around fertility, miscarriage, birth defects, sperm health, egg health and the future health of your baby. Nutrition optimization for both of you is essential.

How long should I take Beli?

We recommend taking Beli for at least three months because that's roughly how long it takes for sperm to mature. You can start taking Beli anytime during your reproductive years, but we recommend at least 3-6 months before you start actively trying.

Can I take Beli Vitality for Men while undergoing IVF?

There have been numerous studies that the ingredients in our formula work to support your nutrient needs to support healthy sperm and eggs. We recommend you check with your doctor before starting any new supplementation regime.

When should I take Beli Vitality for Men?

Take two capsules daily, with or without food, at any time during the day.  Beli’s Vitality has some amazing side benefits of energy and wellness - we want you to feel that all day long.

What if I miss taking Beli Vitality for Men for a day?

We have included a handy tracker on the back of your bottle so you can remember to take it every day. We recommend you make this part of your morning grooming routine - shower, shave and take Beli! If you miss a day, don’t worry, just resume your regular schedule the next day. Do not take more than the daily dose of a 2/day.

What kind of testing do you do?

Beli Vitality for Men and Beli Women prenatal are both 3rd party tested and have been awarded the Clean Label Purity Award.  Beli is manufactured in the United States in an FDA registered facility under the Good Manufacturing Processes (cGMP).

Do your vitamins interfere with prescription medication?

We suggest checking in with your physician before taking any supplement with prescription medication.

Should I stop taking Beli for Men if my partner becomes pregnant?

Well, you could, but why would you give up taking amazing nutrients that nourish your body?  We do recommend you consult with your doctor to see what nutrients you need to support your personal health goals.

Why should I take collagen protein over regular protein powder?

While protein powder can be a valuable source of nutrients, collagen offers unique benefits of being a good source of protein plus amino acids that support the specific needs of a growing pregnancy body. Collagen is a key component of connective tissues, providing essential structural support to joints, ligaments, and skin, which are particularly taxed during pregnancy. Additionally, collagen can help improve gut health, reduce inflammation, and support healthy hair and nails, making it a comprehensive and valuable addition to any pregnancy nutrition plan.

What are amino acids and why is it important to get them?

Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins, which are essential for numerous functions in the body. There are 20 different amino acids, and they play a crucial role in various bodily processes, including the growth and repair of tissues, hormone production, immune function, and enzyme synthesis. Collagen is a protein that is rich in specific amino acids, such as glycine, proline, and hydroxyproline. These amino acids are essential for the production and maintenance of healthy connective tissues, including skin, joints, ligaments, and bones. By taking collagen, you provide your body with a concentrated source of these amino acids, which can support the health and integrity of these tissues, promoting overall well-being and aiding in the healthy growth of your baby during pregnancy.

Is this a complete protein?

Collagen is an incomplete protein, it is not a natural source of the essential amino acid tryptophan.

How does collagen help with baby’s growth?

Collagen plays a role in supporting your baby's growth and development in several ways. Collagen is a vital component of connective tissues, which form the structural framework for the body. It provides support to developing bones, joints, and cartilage, aiding in their formation and strength. Collagen also contributes to the development of healthy skin, which is crucial for protecting the baby and promoting overall well-being. By ensuring an adequate intake of collagen, you provide essential building blocks for your baby's growth, helping to create a strong and healthy foundation for their development.

Will collagen help with nausea?

Collagen is rich in essential amino acids, which are the building blocks of proteins. Adequate protein intake is important for maintaining stable blood sugar levels and promoting a sense of satiety, which may help manage nausea symptoms. However, it is important to consult with your healthcare provider for personalized recommendations and guidance regarding morning sickness and appropriate dietary adjustments.

Can I take this if I’m not pregnant yet?

Yes!  It is generally safe to take collagen even if you are not currently pregnant. Collagen is a naturally occurring protein that offers various health benefits, such as supporting joint health, promoting skin elasticity, and aiding in tissue repair. Taking collagen before pregnancy can help ensure that your body has adequate levels of this essential protein, which can provide a solid foundation for fertility and a healthy pregnancy when the time comes.  We recommend you consult with your medical provider if you have specific concerns about your fertility.

Is collagen safe for pregnancy?

Collagen is generally considered safe for pregnancy - it is a naturally occurring protein found in our bodies and in various food sources. However, it is always recommended to consult with your healthcare provider before starting any new dietary supplements during pregnancy.

How much protein is in collagen and how much should I take when pregnant?

The recommended dosage of collagen for pregnancy can vary depending on individual needs and health considerations. We recommend 1-2 scoops daily. Each scoop contains 10g of collagen which yields 9g of protein. You can mix collagen in anything hot or cold - it is flavorless.  It is best to consult with your healthcare provider or a registered dietitian who can provide personalized guidance based on your specific circumstances. They will consider factors such as your overall diet, any existing health conditions, and your individual nutritional requirements. They can help determine an appropriate dosage of collagen or recommend other dietary sources to support your pregnancy and ensure you and your baby receive the necessary nutrients for optimal growth and development.

Is collagen safe to take while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Yes! Our collagen is bovine-derived (not marine) and free from harmful chemicals, herbs, and additives that are often present in other collagen and protein powders on the market. Plus, collagen does the “heavy lifting” in supporting everything from your immune system to your skin’s elasticity as you’re growing and caring for your new, little one.

Can men take it?

Absolutely!  For men, it is a clean source of protein plus amino acid so you are assured you aren’t getting added fillers or ingredients that might interfere with fertility, testosterone, and sperm health. Here is a blog on the perils of men taking sports supplements for workouts and how some ingredients may harm men’s fertility and sperm health.
