Forbes Health recently reviewed our men's prenatal vitamins and we love author Leigh Weingus' take: "Beli Men Vitality Multivitamins first caught my eye because while I often see supplements that claim to improve fertility outcomes for women, I rarely see the same thing for men." We hear you, Leigh! Check out the full review here and read on for some highlights.
From the Review
Weingus kicks off the article with a few facts:
"Increased nutrient needs during pregnancy means taking a prenatal vitamin is an official recommendation for women from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) for anyone who is pregnant or trying to get pregnant. But nutritional planning prior to conception doesn’t just apply to women—there are prenatal vitamins available to men, too.
Men make new sperm every few months, and some supplement brands claim a multivitamin with certain nutrients has the potential to improve sperm count, motility, protect growing sperm and more.
With that in mind, we reviewed Beli Vitality Multivitamins for Men, a men’s prenatal vitamin that aims to promote stronger and healthier sperm and boost overall fertility. Here’s everything you need to know."
The writer then touches on key features of our formula, outlines pros and cons, discusses health benefits and cost, and dives into what she dubs the "fine print." There's also a quote from Dr. Ranjith Ramasamy, director of male reproductive medicine and surgery at UHealth, who points out that some nutrients can indeed improve sperm health and that consistency will be key. Then, she described the product experience:
"Because I have been trying to get pregnant for a few months and was spending a lot of money on individual supplements for him (like CoQ10 and a regular multivitamin), I thought a multivitamin made with male fertility in mind might be worth a shot.
While I didn’t take Beli Men Vitality Prenatals, my husband has been taking them for about a month now. He didn’t love having to take two capsules per day (he prefers one multivitamin), but was impressed by the fact that they didn’t smell bad, as many multivitamins and supplements do. He was also happy that they didn’t make him nauseous if he took them without food, which is a problem he’s had with other supplements.
Because I’m trying to get pregnant and these need to be taken for a few months, I don’t quite know what the result is yet, but I am impressed by some of the ingredients, like CoQ10 and folate, which may improve sperm quality.
As for immediate results, he noticed a burst of energy within a few days of starting to take Beli Men Vitality Multivitamins—and he certainly can’t complain about that (nor can I, since someone needs to run after our 3-year-old)."
