I am incredibly passionate about taking care of myself to make sure that I can show up for my family. I was a teenager when I lost my dad at 44. He died of a sudden heart attack. That’s my worst nightmare. I want to do everything that I can to take care of myself so that I can be here, and be at my best for my family.

Talking about my experience is how I heal. We have a lot of friends and family around us, and of course my online community is there every step of the way. Everyone in my life knows where they stand with me on infertility, and that is that they can ask me anything they want. I don’t want to be treated like I have a disease. I don’t want people to tiptoe around me. I think that, because I’ve become so open, I have more support.
